Sophie Cairo (born January 28, 1978) is a Hungarian singer, songwriter and entertainer best known for singing alongside Lane McCray in the famous '90s Eurodance act La Bouche.
She started to sing as a child in the Hungarian State Opera Children’s Choir. She finished secondary studies at the Leo Weiner Musical Secondary School in Budapest. (Studied classical singing and piano.)
In 1996, she went to Scandinavia to sing with a show band on cruise ships and in hotels. From 1998, she worked with renowned DJs and as a professional session musician in Hungary, recording lead and backing vocals, composing and writing lyrics. Her voice was used in radio jingles and TV commercials.
In 2002, she released her first solo record: Zsófi – Kell Valami Még (D&B Group).
In 2004, she was contracted in a show band on one of the Disney Cruise Line ships (Disney Magic).
In 2007 – Her song ’Time in Motion’ composed with Jay Lumen featured on UK Ministry of Sound Best of selection and entered #7 on the UK Club Chart TOP 40.
In 2016, she joined Lane McCray and became the female vocalist of La Bouche.
