Sorya Airlines was a short-lived airline based in Laos.[1]
History[edit]
Sorya Airlines was founded in 1974, operating Vickers Viscounts and Douglas DC-3s. The airline ceased operations in 1975.[citation needed]

Before it ceased operations in 1975, Sorya Airlines operated:

- Vickers Viscount
Accidents and Incidents[edit]
On April 11, 1975, a Douglas DC-3 (XW-PKT) was climbing suddenly it was shot down by a mortar shell and crash-landed in a rice paddy field and caught on fire, killing three of the four people on board. The survivor was injured.[2][3]
