Sourin Bhatt was born on 10th February 1982 in Kolkata, West Bengal, to Mr Gaurang Bhatt and Mrs B G Bhatt. From early childhood, Sourin showed a keen interest in music and fine arts and started training under his Guru Shri Sumanta Sarangi from the age of 15.[1]

Career

A predominantly Bollywood singer, Sourin also sings in the Bengali Film & Music industry as well as the Odia Film & Music industry. He got his first Bollywood break with Nadeem Shravan in the film ‘Mohabbat Hogaye Hai Tumse’, doing playback for actor Sanjay Dutt. [2] He has sung other Bollywood numbers like the title track of Kaash Mere Hote and also worked with Kumar Sanu, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik and MD. Aziz, in other musical events. He also became a judge in singing reality shows “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa” Lil Champ 2016 and Sa Re Ga Ma Swara Ra Mahamancha 2021 of television channel Zee Sarthak in Odisha.
