South African Sign Language

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

South African Sign Language (SASL, Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.) is the main sign language used by deaf people in South Africa. The South African government added a National Language Unit for South African Sign Language in 2001.[1] SASL is not the only sign language used in South Africa.[2][3] It is the language the Deaf in South Africa are being encouraged to use.[4]
