Space Opera is a science fiction film in development as of 2019, based on the novel of the same name by Catherynne M. Valente.

It was reported in 2018 that Universal Pictures acquired Catherynne M. Valente's Space Opera, with Marc Platt, Adam Siegel and Colin Trevorrow producing the film.[1] In 2019, it was reported that Joe Epstein would write the screenplay.[2]
