Spatial Eye is a development company and supplier of spatial software products. The functionality of the Spatial Eye products is focused on integrating spatial information into business processes for utilities, telecommunications and public works companies.
Spatial Eye was founded in 2005 in the Netherlands by developers and entrepreneurs previously involved in the development and international distribution of Smallworld GIS.
The Spatial Eye products are part of the GE Energy geospatial solution product range.
Spatial Eye Product Suite
The Spatial Eye Product Suite Offerings include:
- Spatial Workshop for integration, visualization and analysis of spatial and business data,
- Spatial Workshop Lite for web based analysis, reporting and sharing of integrated business and spatial information,
- Spatial Warehouse, a turn-key ETL application that translates spatial and alphanumeric data into output for further analysis,
- One Call, an end-to-end solution to help network operators and contractors to share and exchange information,
- Data as a Service for synchronization of data from open and paid services, modelling it and storing it in an enterprise database,
- Integration Server, a turnkey server to enable service-based integration and create custom services.
Technology
The products are built using the Microsoft .NET Framework and multiple JavaScript libraries like Mapbox and React. Spatial Eye also develops custom libraries to ensure fast and stable access to supported data sources and spatial data interpretation and manipulation. .
