Speakerpunch
Speakerpunch is a Dutch rock band.
History
Formation and debut EP
The band was founded in 2007 by bass player Simon, who, in addition to his current band, Sense, sought a musical project aligned with his preferences. John, the drummer of Sense, shared Simon's musical interests, leading to the formation of Speakerpunch. In their search for a guitarist, Simon and John encountered Ed. Martijn, the former frontman of sleaze-rock band Quickspanker and funk-rock band Terence, later joined Speakerpunch.
In 2009, their debut album was recorded at the Popcentrale in Dordrecht.[1]
At the beginning of 2010, it was decided to expand the band with an extra guitarist, Stefan.

In 2011, a second EP called EP 2.0 was recorded and mastered by Starring Audio Productions.[2]
