Special Judiciary Committee (Georgia Senate)
The Senate Special Judiciary Committee is a five member legislative body consisting of a chairman, a vice-chairman, a secretary, and two members. The Committee operates under a Senate mandate to assist the Senate Judiciary and Senate Judiciary Non-Civil Committees in providing necessary facilitation for any legislation in authorized areas.[1]
Scope and jurisdiction[edit]
The Senate Special Judiciary Committee serves to provide legislative assistance in all legal aspects of legislation for the Judiciary and Judiciary non-civil Committees as well as providing any facilitation necessary within the authorized areas.[1]
