Spreely is an American online social media and social networking platform, based in Florida. Its name is a portmanteau of the words 'speak' and 'freely'.[1] The platform was created by two conservative men in 2018. Its primary purpose is to provide a haven for free speech as an alternative to sites such as Facebook and Twitter.[2]

The site has over 146,000 members as of June 2021.[3] As Spreely's popularity began to rise sharply, one of its co-founders, Mark Sidney, was banned from Facebook and branded as "a dangerous individual".[4]

Spreely's features are patterned closely after Facebook, including a very similar messenger application.[1] Each new Facebook outrage leads to new memberships at Spreely.

The site also operates a video platform, having expanding it to “Connected TV” apps such as Roku, Apple TV and others. It hosts a news channel as well, "Spreely News".[1][5][6]

The company's motto is, "The First Amendment to the US Constitution is the Community Standard."[3][7]
