Sqrrl Fintech is an Indian financial company that provides mutual fund investments through its online platform and app.[1][2][3] The company has launched India’s first investment application and has its headquarters in Gurgaon, Haryana.[4][5][6][7]

Sqrrl Fintech was founded in May 2016, by Samant Sikka, Sanjeev Sharma and Dhananjay Singh.[8][9] They started with an initial offering around savings and investment products powered by mutual funds.[10] They launched a micro investment feature that tracks and automates the purchases by rounding off financial transactions, made online.[11][12]
In June 2018, the company announced that it has raised $1 million in pre-Series A round of venture funding from Equanimity Venture Fund.[13][14][15][16]

Sqrrl Fintech offers a free app-based and web-based financial services platform that currently offers Mutual Fund investment, SIP mutual funds and goal-based investments.[17][18] The company is based in India and as of September 2018, it has 2,00,000 users in India.[19] The application is based on Android & iOS platforms.[20] The app supports Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada and Malayalam languages.[21][22]

Sqrrl Away promotes the concept of micro savings by automating savings and rounding up every spend/transaction to the next Rs.100.[23][24][25] The Sqrrl app offers other products such as tax saving, SIP mutual funds, goal-based investments and custom investment plan.[26][27][28]
