St. Alfred Catholic School was a K-8 Catholic school located in Taylor, Michigan in Metro Detroit. It was opened in 1946 attached to the St. Alfred Catholic Church. The school was closed by the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2011 due to declining enrollment and economic hardship.[2] In 2013 the Archdiocese sold the school building to PrepNet Schools, and it was converted into a charter high school.[3] Currently, the former school is home to Taylor Preparatory High School.
