The St. Louis City Justice Center is a prison Downtown St. Louis. It is 260,000 square feet consisting of six levels, one below ground of approximately 10,000 square feet, and five levels above ground of approximately 50,000 square feet for each level. A bridge connects the Justice Center with the existing Thomas F. Eagleton Federal Courthouse to the north.
The building was designed by Kennedy Associates. Construction was complete in 2002, at a cost of $80 million.[1]
