The University of St Andrews Typhoons are a British student ice hockey team based in St Andrews, Scotland. They compete in the BUIHA (British Universities Ice Hockey Association) Checking Division 1 as the most northern team in the league. Founded in 2011, they host the most popular event in the BUIHA, the Jonny Wookey Memorial Game to over 1,500 students.[1][2]
The Typhoons have had success since their founding in 2011, with four conference titles and two league titles, most recently in 2022.[1] They will be playing in the BUIHA National Championship on April 27, 2024.[3]

While the team is built around students from the University of St Andrews, the team is also open to all university students in Fife, Dundee and beyond.[1]
