Stan Medalie

Stan Medalie (born 29 August 1948) is a South African businessman. He is qualified as an electrical engineer and holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Columbia University in New York. He is the Chief Executive officer of Leonmed Investments (Pty) Limited, a family controlled investment company and is Chairman and CEO of DNR Group.

He has focused on private equity transactions for the past 30 years and has been involved in the formation of numerous listed and unlisted entities including automobile, finance, foundries, franchising, manufacturing, media, mining, real estate, retail, sports promotion and telecommunications.

Stan was the co-founder of Ventures and Acquisitions (Pty) Limited in the mid-1990s and was responsible for numerous private equity investments and was one of the pioneers in Black Economic Empowerment in South Africa.
