Staveley Street near Queen's Road Central

Staveley Street (Chinese: 士他花利街; pinyin: Shìtāhuālì Jiē; Cantonese Yale: si6 ta1 fa1 lei6 gaai1) is a street in Central on the Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The hilly street is for pedestrian only and parallel to Peel Street. Starting from Queen's Road Central, the first section up to Wellington Street composes of few steps with dai pai dong and few hawker stalls. The rest section from Wellington Street to Gage Street is mainly print shops with a sitting-out area and an hourly hotel.

The road is named after William Staveley, a Major General and Lieutenant Governor of Hong Kong between 1848 and 1851 and the administrator of Hong Kong in March 1848.
