Sassoon Road
Sassoon Road (Chinese: 沙宣道; Cantonese Yale: sa1 syun1 dou6) is a road in Sandy Bay and Pok Fu Lam[clarification needed] on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is named after Sir Victor Sassoon.
The area is associated with affluence and wealth. Many of Hong Kong's wealthy live in this area, including Henry Fok (house nicknamed 'Fok Villas'). The area is also close to West Island School. The Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine of the University of Hong Kong situates on it. Facing the sea, it is well recognized for the beautiful sunset view.
