STAYC (Korean: 스테이씨) is a South Korean girl group formed by High Up Entertainment in 2020. Their debut single album Star To A Young Culture was released on November 12, 2020.

History

2020: Pre-debut and Star To A Young Culture

On September 8, 2020, it was announced that High Up Entertainment would debut their first girl group, with Park Sieun being its first member.[1]

On September 9, 2020, profile photos of three confirmed members – Sieun, Seeun and Sumin – were revealed.[2]

The last three members – Isa, J and Yoon – were revealed via prologue films on October 12, 13 and 14 respectively.

The group debuted on November 12, 2020 with a single album titled Star To A Young Culture.

2023: Teddy Bear Song Release

They released their fourth single album titled "Teddy Bear" on February 14, 2023.[3]
