Stephen Alexander Chang (born March 23, 1985) is an American actor and producer. He is best known for his prominent roles as Sebastian in the Twitch web series Artificial (2019–present)[1] and Jesse in the survival video game The Last of Us Part II.[2]
His notable supporting roles in films include Jeremy in the 2015 film Everything Before Us (2015), Wong in Danger One (2018) and Cadet Officer Cook in Captain Marvel (2019).
Early life[edit]
Stephen A. Chang was born in Los Gatos, California, on March 23, 1985, to parents of Chinese descent. Prior to his acting career, Chang attended law school. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Los Angeles and decided to pursue an acting career.
Career[edit]
In 2010, Chang made his acting career debut in two short films Captive and Calliope, respectively. The following year, he appeared in a minor role in 90210.
His guest appearances on television include CSI: NY, Switched at Birth, Kevin from Work, Shameless, NCIS: Los Angeles, Hawaii Five-0 and Wisdom of the Crowd. In 2012, he played a sushi chef in two episodes of the Nickelodeon television series Victorious.
In 2019, Chang played Sebastian in the Twitch web series Artificial, with his character being set to appear in the third season.[3] The same year, he played the supporting role of Cadet Officer Cook in the superhero film Captain Marvel, featuring Brie Larson.[4]
In 2020, he provided the voice and motion-capture of Jesse in the PlayStation 4 survival video game The Last of Us Part II, which happens to be his prominent notable role.[5][6][7][8]
