Stereoside is an Ocala, FL, post-grunge rock band. The line-up features lead singer Jeff Shields, bassist David Oliver, drummer Chris York, and guitarist/vocalist Ben Foster. Formed in the late 1990s out of the band 60 Cycle Hum, Stereoside released an album in 2005 with original vocalist Eddie Sweeney. Subsequently, Sweeney and Stereoside parted ways and Shields joined the ensemble in 2006 after winning a local singing competition. A year later, the band signed with the independent Beiler Bros. Records and soon after began work on its debut album with Shields. So Long was scheduled for release in September 2007.[1] 2010's Stereoside charted at No. 48 on Heatseekers Albums.[2]
