Sterling Thermal Technology is a manufacturer of customised heat exchangers. Established in 1904, it designs and manufacturers heat exchangers for OEM and end-users in sectors such as renewable energy (e.g. hydropower, nuclear and biomass), defence, oil and gas (e.g. FPSO, LNG and offshore platform), recycling and power transmission. Based in the UK, their equipment have a global reach.

Sterling Thermal Technology has operated under several names. It is also referred to as Sterling TT (STT). Previous names have included: Sterling Process Engineering, Britannia Heat Transfer (dissolved May 2010[1]), Britannia Heatex, Crane Heatex, Heat Exchange Industries, Heat Transfer Engineering, PCC Sterling, Thame Energy Services, Thermo Engineers Ltd, Urquhart Engineers Ltd.[2] Other companies acquired by Sterling TT include: Contract Combustion Technology STT, Argo Flare Services, Heat Exchange Industries (HEI).[3]
