Steve Maclean, pseudonym of Hélio Eduardo Castilho de Toledo da Costa Manso, is a Brazilian singer, vocalist, guitarist and former leader of the rock group Mustangs and currently leader of the group Sunday.
Biography
Manso was leader of The Mustangs group[1], formed in 1966 to record North American songs not yet released in Brazil.
Since 1969, Helio was the lead singer of Sunday. He later made a solo career and adopted the name Steve MacLean. In the late 1970s he had success with “Air for a great love” and “True love”[2] and “Sweet Sounds Oh! Beautiful Music.”[3] Manso was director of RGE and later became director of Som Livre, a position he held for several years.
