Steve Rullo
Steve Rullo is an American soccer player.
Early life and education[edit]
Rullo grew up in the suburbs of Anaheim, California.[1] While attending Servite High School,[2] Rullo was named an All-Sunset League player in 1993.[3] Rullo completed his undergraduate school at the University of California, Berkeley. While there, Rullo played for the university's soccer team where he was a midfielder and co-captain.[4] During the 1996 season, he scored the game-winning overtime goal during the team's upset victory over second ranked University of Washington.[5][6] That year, he was named an All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation player and was named Team MVP at California.[7]
Professional soccer[edit]
Rullo played for the San Jose Clash of the MLS and the California Jaguars of the USISL A-League in the 1997 season,[8] during which he scored one goal and got two assists.[9] In 1998, he then competed in the MLS Player Combine.[10] Following his career, he received his MBA from Villanova University, and has become an Ironman triathlete.[11]
