Steven K. Starrett (born Missouri) has been serving as dean of the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas since 2017.[1]

He obtained a bachelor of science in civil engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1989. He then attended Iowa State University and graduated with a master of science in civil and construction engineering (water resources) in 1992 followed with his doctor of philosophy in civil and construction engineering (environmental engineering) in 1994.
Career[edit]
He served at Kansas State University for over 20 years as assistant and associate professor of water resources engineering in the Civil Engineering Department. From 2012 to 2017 his role as director of honor and integrity system in the office of the provost at Kansas State prepared him for his current role as dean and professor of the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology at LeTourneau University. He also served as president, environmental and Water Resources Institute of ASCE from 2016-17. Since 2001, he has consulted as a water resources engineering expert. He is a licensed professional engineer in Kansas [PE16332], Missouri [2002010214], Texas [128254], and other states.
