Steven D. Strauss is currently appointed as the John L. Weinberg/Goldman Sachs & Co Visiting Professor at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton.[1] In addition, he is a contributor at USA Today and other publications[2]. Prior to this, Strauss was on the faculty of the John F. Kennedy School of Government and was a Fellow at the Harvard University Advanced Leadership Initiative.[3] Prior to returning to academia Strauss was a managing director of the New York City Economic Development Corporation[4] where he worked on the Bloomberg administration's review of NYC's economic development strategy.[5][6]
Strauss completed at BA at NYU and in 2002, Strauss obtained a PhD in Management Studies (with a focus on Marketing Strategy) from Yale,[7] after which he worked for 5 years as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company.[8]
