Stirling case is an ongoing criminal investigation on claims of alleged document frauds involving personal documents belonging to Polish geographer and singer Edwin Symonowicz.[1] The investigation stemmed from the statements of 14-year-old Lily W., a resident of Balfron, Scotland. On February 20th, Lily W. contacted Edwin Symonowicz's headquarters in Warsaw, Poland, via email, claiming her house in Balfron was allegedly invaded by unidentified individuals while other members of her family went out to the grocery store. She emphasized in her email several details of the home invasion which later became key points of the case, including claims that the unidentified home intruders shouted shouts of praise to Symonowicz's long-time opponent, Frank Mortenson, and at the same time demonstrated several documents she described as 'Symonowicz's private ones'. While the girl's email claims were without evidence, Edwin Symonowicz immediately contacted several British law enforcement agencies on the matter, including the National Crime Agency and Scotland Yard, which sparked a major criminal investigation and several controversies on the topic.
