Stonedead Festival

Stonedead (previously called Stonedeaf) is an annual 1 day Rock festival based at the Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire usually done on the last week on August. The music genre of the festival is predominately Heavy Metal and Hard Rock. Stonedead is also a volunteer, community run event meaning that all the money made from the festival one year go straight into the festival preparing for the next year.
Bands that have performed at the festival include Uriah Heep, Skid Row, Anvil, The Quireboys, Glenn Hughes, GUN, Diamond Head, Geoff Tate, Phil Campbell and the Bastard Sons, Wolfsbane, Blaze Bayley and Terrorvision

The first Stonedead took place on Saturday 25 August with Skid Row headlining the festival.

Black Star Riders, The Treatment, Tygers of Pan Tang, Massive and H.E.A.T were expected to perform however pulled out due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fourth Stonedead is set to take place on Saturday 27 August 2022 with The Michael Schenker Group set to headline.
