Student Reporting Labs (often abbreviated as SRL), is an American youth journalism program run by PBS NewsHour.[1] It is a partnership between PBS Newshour and schools across the United States.

Founded in 2009 by Leah Clapman as an experiment to engage middle and high school students with current events and the public media mission to educate and inform.[2] The program has grown from 6 pilot locations to over 180 schools in 46 states and has engaged over 35,000 students with partnerships extending from major media and online platforms to international education and youth initiatives. The program supports multiple initiatives including the Edward R. Murrow Award winning podcast,[3] "On Our Minds" and a summer journalism academy in Boston.
