Provincial trees are species of plants selected to represent each of the Provinces of Pakistan. Here is a list of trees that symbolise Pakistan and each provinces and Federal territories of the country respectively: In Pakistan the more than 430 tree species are on 82 families and 226 genera. Out of these 22 species from 5 families and 11 genera belong to softwood trees of gymnosperms. The Himalayan Deodar Cedar is the “National Tree of Pakistan”. The National Tree of Pakistan is the Himalayan Cedar (Cedrus deodara) and the Mango tree (Mangifera indica) is the National Tropical Tree of Pakistan.

A project launched by former Prime Minister Imran Khan to plant 10 billion trees in Pakistan has dramatically transformed some areas of the country.
