Such Small Hands
Such Small Hands is a British music act and the recording alias of Melanie Howard, whose musical style has variously been described as sad-pop and goth. Melanie sings, play keyboards, bass and guitar.
The first Such Small Hands release was the five-track EP In Your Most Fragile Gestures Are Things Which Enclose Me, released in February 2020. The debut album, Carousel, was released in September 2020[1], after a successful crowdfunding campaign.
The name Such Small Hands is taken from the closing line of the poem Somewhere I Have Never Travelled by E.E. Cummings, "Nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands."
Since 2018, Melanie has played bass for, and contributed occasional vocals to, The Wedding Present.
