Sue Frost (born in Glendale, California) is an American politician and a non-partisan member of the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors[1] for the 4th district. Supervisor Frost has served on the Board since January 10, 2017[2], after succeeding Roberta MacGlashan.

Career[edit]

Before joining the Board of Supervisors, Supervisor Frost[2] was elected to the Citrus Heights City Council[3] in 2012. She served as Vice-Mayor in 2014 and Mayor of Citrus Heights[4] in 2015. As Mayor, Sue pushed for the support of non-profits and helping Veterans.

She has been a business owner for 34 years in the field of mortgage lending (retired 2014), consulting and real estate investments. She is also the co-owner of Frost Enterprises Inc. FKA: I.F. Independent Financial Corporation, a full service mortgage bank that sold its operation and servicing in 1993 & 1995 to Centex Homes and Mellon Bank. Sue is a Real Estate Broker and a member of Sacramento Association of Realtors.[5]

Fourth District[edit]

District 4 encompasses the northern area of Sacramento County, bordering on Placer County. The district is made up of two incorporated cities: Folsom[6] and Citrus Heights.[7] It is also made up of many unincorporated areas such as Rio Linda[8], Elverta, Antelope, Orangevale, Gold River[9] and Rancho Murieta.[10]
