Suki (stylized as SUKI) is a 2019 dark comedy short film directed by YouTuber and musician, Noel Miller. The film follows a murderous sociopathic woman, played by Xinyi Cui, and the detective tasked in catching her, played by John Venable.
The film was announced on July 21, 2017[1] and premiered on Miller's YouTube channel on December 28, 2019 as the first film by L.A. Production company, Westlawn Pictures[1][2]

Production[edit]

According to the casting call, filming was originally set to begin June 12, 2017,[3] although it was delayed due to changes made to the script[4]. On July 21, 2017, director Noel Miller posted a teaser trailer and announced that Westlawn Pictures will be funding the film through a GoFundMe[1]. Miller announced that the film was complete on December 28, 2019[5], and later posted the video to his YouTube channel.
