The Sun Vet Mall (often stylized as Sun-Vet Mall or Sunvet Mall) is a shopping mall located in Holbrook, New York.
The shopping complex is a popular destination for Long Island residents for many decades; however, it has since lost the vast majority of its stores, and subsequently its customers. The mall's website still lists former retailers in their directory, such as Pathmark and Toys "R" Us.[1]
The property has been listed with Long Island-based Schuckman Realty since 2017, and language on a sales brochure from 2018 made by the company says "redevelopment coming soon," but no details have been released.[2]
History
The mall was built in 1973 and was named for its proximity to Sunrise Highway and Veterans Memorial Highway.[3]
