Sun and Moon in the Sky is the latest work of martial arts novelist Huang Yi, which began serialization in 2012 and is also the sequel to Story of the Twin Dragons of Great Tang, published in one volume per month and finished in 2014. The total number of volumes is 18. This book is the first part of the "Sheng Tang Trilogy". The work belongs to Huang Yi's work in the genre of foreign chivalry. Its sequel is "Dragon War in the Wild".

Story Description[edit]

The story is based on The Legend of the Twin Dragons of Great Tang and starts with the young girl Mingkong, the disciple of one of the female protagonists, as the main character. After Mingkong grew up, not only did she unify the Demon Sect, but she also got nine out of ten of the "Heavenly Demon Strategy". Sixty years later, he even reached the throne and looked down upon the world. The only thing left of the "Heavenly Demon Strategy" is the unpredictable and unpracticed "Taoist Heart Demon Seeding Technique", and the only person who knows this book well was returned to Luoyang, creating a new generation of reluctant evil emperor, Long Ying, to rise in the martial world.

The story begins with Mingkong's seizure of the Taoist Heart Demon Seeding Technique. The story begins with Mingkong's seizure of the Taoist Heart Demon Seeding Technique, which is a historical figure Wu Zetian. The decades-long struggle between the evil emperor and the empress begins.

Characters[edit]

There are many characters in this book, including Chinese, Turfan, Turkic, Uighur, Uighur, Guizi, Kemal, and Southern Zhao.

Design[edit]

The Hong Kong edition of this book was designed by KAN Tai-keung (KAN & LAU Design), who has worked with Huang Yi for many years. The Chinese painting on the cover was chosen by Huang Yi from the works of the late painter WAN Yi-peng, and the inscription on the cover is from Guqin performer SO Si-ti.

Distribution and serialization in Mainland China[edit]

Huang Yi had signed a contract with qidian.com to serialize the novel on qidian.com, which is also the first time Huang Yi cooperated with qidian.com. However, the novel was only serialized in April 2014 until volume 5, chapter 220, Erhai Dianchi (i.e. chapter 3 of volume 12 of the RTHK version). The novel was taken down in May 2014. It is said that due to the net-cleaning action, the novel's content is pornographic, so it cannot continue to be serialized and published in the Mainland.[1]
