The Sunshine District is a geographical district of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS).
First organized as the Citrus Region as a part of the Dixie District, affiliated with the then Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc. (SPEBSQSA), in 1948 . The region seceded from the Dixie District to officially become the 15th district of the Society on April 18, 1957.[1] The district encompasses the entire state of Florida.
