Super Henedy (Arabic: سوبر هنيدي) is an Egyptian animated comedy television series, produced by the same company as the famed annual Ramadan cartoon Bakkar. The show is a socially and politically irreverent adult cartoon with a detective fiction premise. Super Henedy, a private investigator played by veteran Egyptian character actor Mohamed Henedi, solves humorous mysteries alongside his sidekick Salaat, played by Talaat Zakaria. Daily life, illegal immigration, and the professionalism of Egyptian athletes abroad are among the many topics skewered in a show that features many guest characters, some voiced by themselves and some not.
