Suresh Ragutu is an Indian cinematographer who works predominantly in Telugu films. He started his career in the Telugu film industry. He received praise for the film Aakashavaani.

Early life[edit]

Suresh Ragutu was born in Kharagpur, West Bengal. He has done his schooling in Andhra Higher Secondary School, Kharagpur and S.E.Railway Higher Secondary School. Suresh then joined in photography and visual communication course in JNTU College of Fine Arts, Masab Tank.[1]

Career[edit]

In 2007, Suresh Ragutu made his foray into cinema as Assistant Director of Photography under K. K. Senthil Kumar with Telugu films such as Arundhati, Magadheera, Eega , and Golconda High School. Later he made his debut in 2014 as Cinematographer for Chandamama Kathalu directed by Praveen Sattaru.[2] He later worked as Cinematographer for films like PSV Garuda Vega,Nannu Dochukunduvate, Thank You Brother, Thellavarithe Guruvaram , Aakashavaani and few web series Expiry Date and The Baker and The Beauty.
