Susan Willson is a noted biologist and species ecologist and professor at St. Lawrence University.
She has worked to advocate for the survival of songbirds with extensive scientific studies on the efficacy of colorful cat collars which act as visual cues for songbirds. Her studies have been featured and popularized by MTV, the Atlantic, Audubon Magazine, NPR, and NCPR.
Susan's recent work features window strike prevention for birds, using Acopian blinds, which are easily created and available freely as publicly available designs.
