Sushant Tungare (born 19 December 1984) is a Series Producer & Executive Producer[1] . He is one of the most successful and recognised film director of Hindi Cinema. His notable works are URI - The Surgical Strike ( 2019) The Fame Game (2022) and Shabash Mitthu (2022)

Early life[edit]

Sushant Tungare was born to Prashant Tungare a government servant and Seema Tungare a housewife. He has a brother Shantanu Tungare. He was married to Manava Naik in 2017.[2] He is a bachelor of engineering graduate from university of mumbai and drifted to media and has analytical mind. Sushant has also achieved Masters Degree from University of Technology, Sydney and worked on projects with films and casting temple.

Career[edit]

2003–2010: Early work[edit]

Tungare began his career at the age of 25 as Production Coordinator in Bollywood Stars Kareena Kapoor, Kajol and Arjun Rampal starer Film We are Family in 2009. He has also worked as Production Coordinator in MTV Rodies in 2009.

2012–2020: Debut as Producer and breakthrough[edit]

Tungare debuted as Producer with a TV Serial Ambat Goad in the year 2012. Since then he never looked back. In 2013 he produced TV Serial Sanskar Dharohar Apno Ki and jouney continued with Lai Bhaari in 2014 in which he was excutive producer. He Co-Produced Film Classmates in the Year 2015. From the Year 2015 to 2017 Tungare was producer of famous TV Serial Saraswati. In the Year 2017 he produced Marathi Comedy TV Serial Chuk Bhul Dyavi Ghyavi. The very famous TV Serial Horn OK Please was also produced by Tangare in the year 2018. URI- The Surgical Strike was a 2019 Indian Hindi-language military action film written and directed by debutant Aditya Dhar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala under the RSVP Movies banner. Tungare was the co-producer of the film. The film stars Vicky Kaushal along with Yami Gautam, Mohit Raina, Kirti Kulhari and Paresh Rawal.

2020–Present: Commercial Success[edit]

Sushant has worked as Executive Producer on feature films such as URI The Surgical Strike, He was also instrumental for Executiing Feature films like Guilty and Ajeeb Daastans which won critical awards. He has also tried his hand at Series and Pushpavalli Season 2 and The Fame Game as some famous series he has worked upon.

Shabaash Mithu a feature film which champions the cause of female cricket in India is also a film he was executive producer of Nayeka a suspence thriller starring kirti kulhari is also a difficult feature film which Sushant helped produce.

He started is career with Excel Entertainment with a project to be shot extensively in many countries. the film was DON 2 starring Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra etc.
