Swan Man

Swan Man is a retired postman named Recep Mirzan who was born in circa 1958 in Turkey is known as Swan Man. Around 1984, Mirzan found an injured female swan in Turkey's western Edirne province. The swan had one broken wing among other injuries. Mirzan brought the swan home and nursed her back to health. He named the swan Garip which means "poor fellow" in Turkish. Garip the swan follows Mirzan everywhere—whether he's going to the market or working in a field.[1][2][3][4]
