Syed Fardeen (born October 29, 2002) is an Indian singer, songwriter, and music producer from Ranchi, Jharkhand.[1][2][3][4]
Early Life and Education
Fardeen, born as Fardeen Shakil, early education at Firayalal Public School, one of the most respected schools in Ranchi, laid the foundation for his academic and artistic achievements. While he excelled in his studies, his passion for music was evident from a young age. Whether it was participating in school events or nurturing his love for different musical genres, his creativity flourished alongside his academic pursuits.
After completing his schooling, Fardeen continued his education at Ranchi University, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). Although his degree opened doors to potential careers in business and commerce, Fardeen's true calling was always in music, and he chose to follow his heart despite the traditional expectations of his educational background. He started playing the guitar at the age of eight and, by fifteen, had taught himself to play drums, bass, keyboards, and piano. His musical influences range from Indian classical ragas to Western jazz fusion.[3]
Career
In 2017, at the age of 15, Fardeen founded Franklin Records, an independent music label based in Ranchi. The label provides music distribution and promotion services.
Fardeen's debut single, "Dekh Mujhe Bhi", was released on February 21, 2021. He composed and performed the song, featuring vocals by Shweta Jean. The music video was directed by Shaim Khan and cinematography by Saaz Khan. The song is available on major streaming platforms like Spotify.[5][6][7]
In addition to his music career, Fardeen is active on social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, where he shares his music and interacts with fans.[8][9]
