Sylva Åkesson (18 September 1916 – 26 May 2021) was a Swedish actress.[1][2]
She was born to Betty Johansson (1887–1975), who married Anton Åkesson from 1919 to 1939. She first worked as a mannequin and became involved with the Casino Theater in 1938, playing operetta and revue before retiring from the stage in the early 1950s. She appeared in films from Skåningar in 1944, to Blondie, Biffen och Bananen in 1952.
Åkesson married Swedish composer and lyricist Nils Perne (1905–1965) in 1950 until Perne's death.[3]
Åkesson died in Stockholm on 26 May 2021, aged 104.[2]
