Moulay LARBI (born 2 May 1987)[1], who performs under the stage name Sylvermay, is a French trance DJ and music producer.
Sylvermay first gained recognition in 2010 for his remix "Air Night - Remember", released on Reorder's label Silent Shore Records. He is signed to Armada, Outburst Records, Perfecto Records, Blackhole Recordings.
Musical career[edit]
Sylvermay's first ever release was his track "La Mar" on ABP Records in 2009. His next release, "Redlight", was heavily supported by his peers in the industry, including Armin van Buuren on his A State Of Trance[2] Festivals and Paul Oakenfold's - We Are Planet Perfecto Volume 5 – Back to My House compilation.[3]
Between 2012 and 2017, he had well-received releases[4][5] such as "Noor", "Ushuaïa", "Prometheus"[6], "Haarp", "Redlight" and "The Wall"[7]. These songs were supported by successful artists including Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Van Dyk, and Sean Tyas. Next to that, he produced official remixes for the likes of Ronski Speed's "Sun Decade", Mike Saint-Jules, Air Night, and The Thrillseekers. His remixes gained quickly support on Armin van Buuren's A State Of Trance Radio[8] show and received DJMag.com[9][10] features.
Meanwhile, Sylvermay has played at four "No Border - Trance & Progressive All Night Long[11]" tour events in France. He has also performed at other venues such as Accorhotels Arena[12] for the "Ice Clubbing" event and Club 360° in Dubaï.
In 2019, Sylvermay plays alongside Paul Van Dyk on his Music Rescues Me album tour in Paris at the famous YOYO, Palais de Tokyo (Palace of Tokyo) venue.[13][14]
According to his recent interview for DJ Mag, the DJ is releasing brand new music on BODYWRMR (Jeffrey Suturious aka Dash Berlin label) and planning a new tour for 2020-2021.[15][16]
Summer 2020, Sylvermay made his debut on Transemission Festival by delivering an exclusive 'Transmix' which gained recognition by host Andi Durrant.[17]
September 2021, Sylvermay made his debut on France's largest trance music festivals 'Dreamnation Festival'[18] at Paris - Le Bourget. The artist performed in a 10,000 crowded dancefloor alongside Hilight Tribe, Avalon, DJ Captain Hook and Morten Granau.
