The newly formed T20 Cricket League is a proposed T20 cricket tournament introduced by Cricket South Africa (CSA), it is set to be held in South Africa from the 9th November 2018 up until the 16th December 2018.
The first edition of the T20 Cricket League is scheduled to consist of six teams featuring 16 players each. The league with run from the 9th November 2018 with the inaugural final set to be played on the 16th December 2018.
Squads[edit]
The squads playing in the T20 Cricket League will be played in six different venues around South Africa. The six squads are to feature 16 players each of which each should have a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 international cricket players.
International players[edit]
South African players playing in Europe under Kolpak contract are also considered International Cricketers and registered as returning kolpak players, Cricketers from other countries are registered as internationally capped players. The players that are interested in playing in the league should register before the 2nd October 2018 as the Draft day has been set for the 17th October 2018.
