TAD GROUP is a privately held cybersecurity company headquartered in Newport Beach, California. It was founded in 2014 by Ivan Todorov.[1], currently acting as the CEO[2] The company's services cover a vast range of diverse markets including banking, biotech, healthcare, and others. The primary services of the company include penetration testing, consulting, and incident response which are being offered to both the private and governmental sector.
In regards to the adoption of (EU) 2016/679 - [[General Data Protection Regulation|GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)]] on 14 April 2016, TAD GROUP was among the first to recognize "ransomhack" as the new threat for companies operating in European Union.[3]
There are plenty of public exploits submitted from the company experts, helping cybersecurity engineers during their assessments.[4]

As part of the software development branch, as of early 2018 the company has released their own content management system (CMS) - TAD CMS[5]. The core focus of the software is its built-in WAF (Website Application Firewall) that brags with being able to mitigate almost every publicly known exploit and attack vector.
The idea behind the product is to improve security on a large scale by implementing advanced means of threat detection and mitigation.

TAD GROUP was founded in Newport Beach, California in 2014 and started as a small cybersecurity company offering IT security solutions across several different field including vulnerability assessment, cyber security consultancy and secure software development.
In 2016, the technical team and the majority of the administration was relocated to Sofia, Bulgaria. It was the first company in Bulgaria to specialize in providing global cybersecurity and information protection solutions.
In 2019, the company launched the first cybersecurity franchise program.[6] Currently the company has also offices in USA, London and Romania. TAD GROUP is member of the International Franchise Association.
