Technology[edit]

The NASA[18] technology used in the physiological prayer mat are two, first is the polyurethane gel foam and chitosan as an antimicrobial agent used in agriculture since the 1980s and to boosting plant immunity, In 1997, NASA researchers[19] started testing on the Mir Space Station and the Space Shuttle finding successful results.

NASA researchers found that chitosan increased levels of beta-1, 3 glucanase enzymes in bean plants’ cells, making them more resistant to fungal pathogens, determining that the substance would have the same effect on Earth. This lead to further research 10 years later at the Johnson Space Center, with the US Department of Defense, conducted several experiment on NASA’s Cell Culture Module aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to test chitosan’s impact on human immunity.

The invention[20][21] and novelty[22][23][24] of the product dazed many with its unique and very practical application[25]. As a space technology company[26][27] TIMEZ5 become a vital player in the commercialization of space technology based on their performance and capability to quickly and effectively commercialize space technology.

Product[edit]

The flagship-product os the worlds first physiological prayer mat[28] which is a 5 layer system designed to relieve pain, improve posture and give more energy while praying or meditating. This laying technology[29][30] enables people with physical challenges especially those with chronics issues like knee pain[31][32] or back pain.[33] Through the ability to improve blood circulation by putting less pressure on the body when in prayer or mediation position users are able to have less pain therefore improving their posture and energy levels[34][35].

Criticism[edit]

Due to the advanced and early development of this technology many consumers found themselves not being able to afford[36] the product therefore the product becoming highly exclusive. This led to a spur of counterfeit products trying to primarily compete on price but with no to limited technological benefit to its users. Also as the products were primary availably online several consumers found themselves unable to purchase the product unless it was through their limited yet exclusive distribution network.
