Trisat is nanosatelite for Earth observation, made as part of the Slovenian program of the same name at University of Maribor.
It was launched on 3 September 2020 from French Guiana on [Vega (rocket | Vega]] rocket after several postponements. The scientific goal of the mission is focused on remote sensing of the earth's surface using a hyperspectral camera.
The first successful communication between the satellite and the earth station in Maribor was established on September 3, 2020 at 12:20 local time.
