TTSWTRS (tattoosweaters) is a Ukrainian clothing brand that operates in 11 countries.[1] The brand's collections are created in collaboration with artists, photographers, and tattoo artists.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
History[edit]
TTSWTRS was founded in 2013 as a creative project of designer Anna Osmekhina, a former Ukrainian costume designer and stylist.[8][9][10] The brand started with a capsule limited collection of tattooed sweatshirts, which were sold in legendary concept store Colette during a week.[11] The team of 4 people, Anna Osmekhina, Svetlana Snezko, Nina Korobeynikova, Iryna Osmekhina, worked on it and further developed the concept of tattooed clothing.[12] Later, TTSWTRS was presented in Japan, and then in the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, China, United Kingdom, Austria, Russia, and Ukraine.[13] In 2015, the brand launched the demi-couture collection "Alice In Ink". On 6 March 2016, it was presented at the Les Suites Paris Store.[14]
In 2019, the brand released a SS19 collection in partnership with tattoo masters Arnest Makhin, Rostislav Tsarenko, and Andrey Svetov.[15]
In 2020, TTSWTRS had a collaboration with the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow and the Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac.[16] Also that year, the brand launched the online showroom, which presents new collections for buyers.[17]
In the summer 2020, the show TTSWTRS FW '20 was released as the first virtual reality fashion show in Eastern Europe.[18][19][20][21][22][23][24][excessive citations]
In 2021, brand sales started on Farfetch.[25] 2021 also became the year when TTSWTRS presented The Earth Series futuristic collection inspired by the possibility of living in the future on the other planets and exploring individuals' essence.[26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35][36][excessive citations]

TTSWTRS production is located in Kyiv, Ukraine consists of TTSWTRS Factory and two separate workshops.[37] The stores are located in Kyiv and Odessa (Ukraine), as well as in Moscow (Russia). TTSWTRS operates in 11 countries.[38]
Management[edit]
Anna Osmekhina is a brand founder and owner.[1][39][40][41][42] Anna worked as a costume designer for more than 100 clips, films, photo shoots, shows and concerts of Eastern European artists like Lara Fabian, Vera Brezhneva etc.[14][43][44] The team consists of 120 people with Anna Osmekhina and Iryna Osmekhina as the leaders. Svetlana Snezkho is Art Director and Nina Korobeynikova is a Head of Visual.[45]
Design[edit]
The main idea of the brand is clothes as a second skin. It is inspired by the subculture of tattoos and the perception of the body.[46][47]
In 2013, the look of the group "Kazaky", which became famous for filming in the Madonna clip, was created by Anna Osmekhina.[48]
The most recognizable brand position is the body and jumpsuit with an art imitation of a naked body covered with tattoos.[49]

Nicki Minaj, Winnie Harlow, Kourtney Kardashian, Ksenia Sobchak, Irina Shayk, Tommy Cash, Lisa Owen, Tommy Li, Sita Abellan, Willow Smith, Grimes and other celebrities were the brand customers[50][51][52][53][54][55][56]
