Tagapo Elementary School (TES) is a public elementary school under the Department of Education (Philippines), located in Tagapo, Santa Rosa City, Laguna and run by the DepEd of Santa Rosa City, Laguna Province, Philippines.
The main campus of the institution is located at the western district of Tagapo, Santa Rosa City, Laguna where a 3-storey building with 15 classrooms is located. It is the only public elementary school in the district.
History[edit]
Management[edit]
In 1945, the national government appropriated in a big amount of its budget for the construction of schools in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. The then town of Santa Rosa, Laguna was very lucky enough to be the recipient of three concrete schools, one is now the Tagapo Elementary School.
The building is used for teaching children the primary and intermediate courses which is from Grades I to VI.
In 1950, five additional rooms were added to the original building. In 1953, the municipal government purchases an additional one half hectare piece of land adjacent to the original sites.

TAGAPO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL is envisioned to make each child a highly competent individual, knowledgeable and God – willing citizen who will contribute towards building a peaceful and progressive society.

The torch, symbolizes knowledge this school is committed to give to each student. The knowledge that is passed into him by the help of his teachers is like a light bearing torch given to him to guide him through the way of a better future.
The book, symbolizes the school itself as the source of knowledge and quality education. In the book’s cover also inscribe the words “Isang Bansa, Isang Diwa” (One Nation, One Spirit) reminds us that we Filipinos that are facing challenges in life must unite with one another towards good governance and built the nation to progress.
The Laurel leaf, represents academic honors, distinction and fame.
Campus[edit]
The school is equipped with its own Science Room with Laboratory, Math Room, School Library and Computer Laboratory. It also has a home economics room. The school has a Covered Court and a canteen.
Publication[edit]
The Central Vision is the official publication of Tagapo Elementary School. Started its humble start in 1990s and became strong in 1996. It contains news articles about the events in the school and features literary pieces and drawings like editorial cartoons and comic strips by the students.

School programs and campaigns[edit]
Alay-Bigay sa Pasko[edit]
Tagapo Elementary School students made it a tradition to give alms and donations to the less fortunate during the season of Christmas by formulating an outreach program covering the entire Santa Rosa City, Laguna region. They named it Alay-Bigay sa Pasko (Gift-giving in Christmas) and has pursued the program for 3 years now.
Each offering include:
- rice
- canned foods
- noodles
- coffee
- milk
- used clothing
- soap
- shampoo
The outreach program has reached the remote villages and communities of Santa Rosa City, Laguna. This 2010, the program went to the Santa Rosa City, Laguna city hall where hundreds of patients received early Christmas presents.
