Taikyu Shrine was Shinto Shrine in Daegu during the Japanese occupation of Korea.

The main deities enshrined here were Amaterasu Okami and Kunitama Okami [simple], and Susanoo no Mikoto was also enshrined.

It was linked to imperialism and State Shinto rather than local support for Shintoism,^{[citation needed]}

Japan's defeat in World War II led to the shrine's abolition on November 17, 1945
