TaipeiPASS is an app developed by Taipei City Government for citizens' identifications and applications.[1][2] It not only combines the functions of Taipei Card 3.0 but connects to all kinds of online services provided by the city government. Everyone can register an account on the app.
The information sector of the city government said that the app is an upgrade to Taipei Card 3.0, hoping that it can create a convenient environment for the citizens and realise a humane smart city. The app has received criticism for privacy and safety concerns.[3]
